Justin Timberlake's 'Sexy Back' is our gateway drug," says front man Steve Page of his band's popular remake of the pop hit. "People will listen to that first and then get into our other stuff. It really fits with what we do. Some people don't even know the Justin Timberlake version and they think we wrote it." Rivethead is that flexible. They've also adapted versions of Britney Spears' "Toxic" and No Doubt's "Hella Good" into their signature electro-metal thrash. Rivethead has been around for many years and members have come and gone, all leading to its current (and best) incarnation. "It's like a super group now," says Page. "We've
known each other forever and respected each other's talent, but we were always in different bands." Like any good band, Rivethead's music is a democratic amalgam of ideas. Page (vocals, guitar, keys), Kevin Kerr (guitar), Mark Halford (drums) and Derek James (bass) coalesce in the studio and on the stage. But Rivethead's forte isn't even their catchy, addictive sound – it's their relentless effort of promotion. And that effort has always been aimed in the right direction – worldwide. Where exactly is that? Dallas Stars Games. That's a place you'll hear Rivethead's music. "I used everything I had to find out who the guy was that did the music," says Page, notoriously relentless when it comes to the band and its success. "We are
that band that gets out there and gets a foot in every door." Rivethead will be performing two live sets at a Stars game on March 19th.
CD Baby & iTunes. You'll find the band's music there too. "CD Baby lets you set up a storefront so you can sell CDs anywhere in the world," he says. "We've sold them in Japan, Europe, Canada and coast to coast in North America." Counting iTunes sales, the band has amassed over $25,000 in sales!
Oklahoma Red Hawks. Yep, the Texas Rangers farm team plays Rivethead."I went to a bunch of Hawks games and I got them to play our music," says Page. It sounds too easy, and lots of bands have tried to get their music played publicly without success, so how did Page get it done? "We record a full album and do a version without lyrics. We can use the riffs for anything. You take one song, put a good chant on it, and it gets played. Then you sell 100 CDs in that market." (Think about the simplistic "Dallas… Stars" chant.) Page did the same for the Oklahoma Blazers, a minor league pro hockey team. Worldwide. "We're on the Lex and Terry shown," says Page. "They sponsor the band." As does Vitamin energy drink, Dunlop and others. The band's music has also found its way to television and certain apps like Gene
Simmon's Family Jewels and MTV's Road Rules. The legwork is good, but
exhausting and ultimately inefficient. And Page knows this. "The cool thing about Facebook and CD Baby and satellite radio – they make the world a really small place. You can go online and make 100 new fans in any market,
worldwide." As the world downloads, go catch the guys live, starting with the Stars game this month, or online at RivetheadOnline.com. - Lit Magazine, March 2011
"These guys add electronic elements to hard-hitting metal, making their sound a tad industrial. But only a tad. At their core, the tracks on The 13th Step follow the tried-and-true formula of forefathers Metallica and Pantera. Anti-establishment lyrics? Check. Manic guitars? Check. Growling vocals? Check. Tight, unrelenting percussion? Chiggity-check. -HUNTER HAUK, QuickDFW"
"RIVETHEAD: Metal elements complement very well- done hard-rock songwriting." - Ayo, KDGE 102.1FM, Dallas
"The 13th Step is, without question, a monumental album, arguably the equal of any other record written and produced by the Dallas metal scene since Pantera imploded. Rivethead's aggressive-yet-beautiful brand of industrial metal is impressive. And their diversity of musical styles --while always remaining true to their heavy metal roots-- hopefully ensures that the band's distinctive sound will never get stale and predictable." - Todd Maternowski, Pegasus News - Dallas, TX
"I love this band. The music is so cutting edge and right where it needs to be for the taste of the industry right now." - Vix, Sugarbuzz Magazine - Oklahoma City, OK
"The 13th Step is a complex CD with many highs and lows. Steve is a master composer he has crafted an album that in my opinion is one of his best efforts to date. There is 14 tracks on this CD and I have to say I still want more!" - Chris Nite, Lit Monthly
"Industrial group/loud rock/nu-metal band from Dallas, Texas! RIVETHEAD releases a full-length album in 2008! Effect-processed, angry, shout vocals with a catchy feel; programmed beats; crunchy, metallic guitars; and a rhythm section with a tough groove combine for a great industrial style! Their sound mixes the style of Static-X, White Zombie and Metallica!" - O-Level, Japan
“To cut a long story short: this band convinces me right from the get go. The sound is a dirty hybrid somewhere in between Filter, Static X and Rammstein-light. The result is a inviting, somewhat rallying product which is supported by the Ministery-esque ADHD vocals of singer Steve Page.” Frank D., Lords of Metal The Netherlands
"Rivethead is an extraordinary combination of old industrial metal with Static X and Ministry. The album The 13th Step is kinda special and complex. From a brutal sound like Ministry it passess to soft track with piano and then continues with agressive riffs combined with electronic elements." - Malice, Metal Act - Romania

Rockeyez Review of "The 13th Step" by Joe Manno
http://www.rockeyez.com/reviews/cd/rivethead/rev-the-13th-step.html
I am not one for real hard fisted /industrial/electro type metal musicand I pretty much stay away from reviewing such noise. But as I always tell my kids, “If you don’t try something you don’t think you like, you may never know if you will like it”.
I will also state I don’t like violent yelling, where you never understand the statement or the aggressionand that is in part why I shy away from reviewing this type of genre! RIVETHEAD a Dallas based heavy metal/industrial band, shines through all of the above.
Is it heavy? Fuck yea! Do they yell? Fuck Yea! Can you understand the vocals? A big Fuck yea! That is a firstand says a lot to me about a band. If you’re going to make a statement, make a statement and don’t hide behind talentless yells and bullshit riffs.
RIVETHEAD is a true example of what I am mean. The proof is in their CD “The 13th Step” Not only am I impressed with the vocals of Steve Page, but the band is tight, in your face, shut up and pay attention, full throttle kickass!
“ It” the first cut on the CD, totally rips!! Heavy solid guitar riffs, dirty vocals and blood pumping rhythms that immediately set your head right. The music is not the typical bullshit of what I expected from this genre. There are many interesting things happening in all of their songs, including great hooks, many twists and turns and even a “Charlie in the Box” (figure it out).”Explosive”, the 3rd cut on the CD has that element. Great vocal hooks, while nails are driven into your feet! All 14 tracks have something special.
RIVETHEAD comes up nothing short on this CD. The band has all the right Rivets in place. Kevin Kerr on guitar and vocals, Derek James- Bass, vocals, Mark Halford- drums and as mentioned before Steve Page on vocals keys, guitar and sampling. You won’t find any redundant riffs or weak lyrics that usually make a CD predictable. The “13th Step” is a gem for all you head bangers out there.
I listened, I liked! RIVETHEAD kicks major ass!
Rock On!
Joe

"The 13th Step" review by Pegasus News
http://www.pegasusnews.com/news/2008/may/29/cd-review-rivetheads-i-13th-stepi/
By Todd Maternowski
Dallas-based metal band Rivethead has long been a strong presence in the local metal scene, but with their newest album, The 13th Step, they've produced a truly impressive album that should be a fixture in the collection of any self-respecting fan of industrial metal. Combining the best elements from NIN, Rammsteinand a plethora of other powerful industrial bands --as well as the Hammer of Thor himself-- Rivethead has made an amazingly polished album for an unsigned band.
The 13th Step was produced at the band's own expense at Dallas' fine Nomad Studiosand the remarkable sound quality is evident from the first few seconds in. Too many metal bands rely on volume and distortion to cover their less-than-stellar musicianship, but thankfully Nomad is able to squeeze out a surprising amount of sound from just four musicians, while giving it great clarity at the same time. Remember the last time you heard a metal CD in which you could understand all the lyrics? If you're judging an album on sound quality and tight musicianship, this record is already way ahead of the curve.
The music itself is phenomenal. Never relying too long on the often-repetitive industrial electronic hooks and beats, Rivethead constantly changes things up in each and every one of the fourteen tracks on the album, powerfully mixing viciously pounding drum and bass with the authentic dark soul industrial metal needs.
From the start, this is one hell of an album: the first track on the album, 'It', is thunderously heavy industrial metal, gently assaulting the ear with pounding, driving bass/drum beats and lead singer Steve Page's scratchy-voiced singing. Rivethead follows up the opener with 'Stirring It Up' --again with the heavy stuff, including plenty of electronic sound effects layered underneath a barrage of hammer-metal, before wrapping it up with a chilling, darkly electronic finale.
They follow that with the Rammstein-esque (early Rammstein, before they went all California) 'Explosive': heavy bass and drums combined with haunting keyboard (also played by Page), again with the scratchy vocals over it all. The song is brilliantly produced and orchestratedand if you haven't realized the sheer musicianship of guitarist Kevin Kerr, bassist Derek James and drummer Mark Halford by this point, you're listening to a different album.
'Explosive' is followed by yet another impressive display of Zombie-metal, 'I Knock You Down', a song which seems tailor-made to be played at Dallas Stars games, UFC bouts or generally anywhere where ass is about to be kicked and names about to be taken. Someone ought to tell Jere Lehtinen or Kimbo Slice about this track, so they can finally find that long-sought-after theme music.
After getting all worked up from the opening four songs, the next two stand out more than any others on the album. Song 5, 'Becoming', is a Trent Reznor-inspired slow and ponderous ballad, which picks up halfway through but is still far more subdued than the previous songs on the album. To be honest, I didn't care for it the first 2-3 times I listened to it, but it does grow on you. 'Becoming' is probably the closest Rivethead comes on this album to Radio-Friendly Heavy Pop.
The following song, 'In This World Without You', is even slower, an out-of-character lost-love ballad. When I found out it was about bassist Derek James' actual personal loss, I felt like a jerk for not liking it -- no doubt when Rivethead plays it live, there's probably not a dry eye in the house-- but there's nothing trickier than a metal band making a successful ballad. For every 'Nothing Else Matters', there's a million 'When the Children Cry': at any rate, the song is not a bad one, but it does stand apart from the rest of the albumand adds a little gravitas to the record.
The album gets right back into the good stuff with 'Not My Time', a brilliant piece mixing heavy metal with an amazingly catchy Middle Eastern-style guitar and drum hook. Folk metal isn't something you commonly hear from bands in the U.S., despite its ancient power and proven effectiveness. Great music is both felt and heardand 'Not My Time' is one of the best songs on the album for just this reason.
Showing off their diversity of musicianship, Rivethead jumps from folk-metal and squarely back into KMFDM/Rammstein territory with the next two songs, 'Never' and 'Fear Me'. Both combine driving industrial metal with soaring vocalsand 'Fear Me', in particular, seems cut-and-ready for massive radio airplay. The fact that this band is getting play on XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, but not been signed by a major label, speaks volumes as to why the record industry is in so much trouble both artisitically and financially.
Rivethead changes it up once again with song 10, 'Electrik', which is straight-up industrial disco dance metal, super-catchy and right up there with anything you'll hear at a Marilyn Manson concert. The band once again changes it up with the following song, 'My Discord', which is excellent industrial metal with piano thrown over it for haunting gothic effect.
The single best song of the album, in my usually untrustworthy opinion, is the twelfth song on the album, 'Inside'. The song sways drunkenly between hyperactive and heavyand is pleasantly punctuated by a engagingly robotic female vocal chorus. 'Inside' leads directly into the title track on the album, which is soaked in heavy guitar riffs and dripping with electronica, with even more Reznor-esque piano-and-melancholic-vocals interludes to bring the listener in.
The album wraps up with 'Water', which closes out the album with even more Eastern-style guitar picking, this time woven around a (hilarious) baritone voice-over explaining the geopolitical and foreign policy implications of water. Page once again does a great vocal bit in the choruses of the song, while the rest of the band performs beautifully.
The 13th Step is, without question, a monumental album, arguably the equal of any other record written and produced by the Dallas metal scene since Pantera imploded. Rivethead's aggressive-yet-beautiful brand of industrial metal is impressive. And their diversity of musical styles --while always remaining true to their heavy metal roots-- hopefully ensures that the band's distinctive sound will never get stale and predictable.

13th Step

SugarBuzz Magazine
Hailing from Dallas Texas comes a band that has taken a teeny bit of mainstream, mixed it with edgy controversial metal and added some outrageous staging. Allow me to slap you in the face with Rivethead. Currently out on tour with their newest CD 13th Step, Rivethead is gathering a fan base nationwide that is unparalleled.
When you see the pictures of the band and hear the name Rivethead you tend to think 'cookie monster' vocals. So me being the sing along gal, I was as skeptical as the next person as to whether I would like it. However, again I was mistaken and I took a step out of my glam rock cocoon and gave the CD a listen.
First let me say that this band spared no expense to go to the best recording studio in Dallas, Nomad Studios. The CD its self is so well done you would never think it was a self released CD. The CD has 14 tracks and every song offers up a different side of this multifaceted band.
The CD open with "It". This song has an old school Nine Inch Nails sound to it. Steve's grainy voice is a great fit. One big point for them coming from me is that you can actually understand the lyrics. I can't sing them as fast as they do but hey at least I know they are actually saying something, right? The song "In This World Without You" is so moving and intense that you will listen to it over and over. I think one of my favorites on here is "Fear Me". Listen to the song and if you know me you will understand why. If you dont know me give it a listen and figure it out for yourself. I am not gonna do all your thinking for you fuckers. The CD is closed out with "Water" and all I can say is it is such a fucked up song its good. I know these guys so I think maybe there is an underlying thing going on with this song. Or I could be wrong, I'll find out tho lemme tell ya.
The coolest thing is that they have done a cover of the hit "Sexy Back". I hate the original release of this song. But their version kicks MAJOR ass.
Classified as an Industrial band Rivethead has played on bills with Mushroomhead, Saliva, Crossfade, Powerman 5000, Black Stone Cherry, A Dozen Furies, Trivium, The Burden Brothers, Silvertide and more. The band receives regular airplay on SQUIZZ XM Channel 48, The Lex and Terry Morning Radio Networkand more. RIVETHEAD's music has been played by the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines center for several years and the Oklahoma City Blazers hockey team recently started playing the band's music as well. Recently, National Geographic used RIVETHEAD's music as did the TLC reality show, "The Bussey Bunch", which featured our good friends at PCW Wrestling. 2008 is this band's year!!!
I love this band. The music is so cutting edge and right where it needs to be for the taste of the industry right now. And luckily Steve is so in tune he and the band can adjust the sound to meet the demands of the flakey ass music scene. But above anything else they are kick ass guys, very talented and genuinely alot of fun. Hopefully they will be able to get out more and away from the southwest to tour other states. But I can tell you, being in the southwest and having Rivethead so close WE are the lucky ones for once....na na na na na Hollywood!
RivetHead is
Steve Page: Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards, Programming, Sampling and Donkey Kicks
Kevin Kerr: Guitar and Vocals and Tourettes
Derek James: Bass, Vocals, Scaring small children and Llama training
Mark Halford: Drums and chair scooting

Behind the Rivet Gun - Chris Nite
The 13th Step is a complex CD with many highs and lows. Steve is a master composer he has crafted an album that in my opinion is one of his best efforts to date. There is 14 tracks on this CD and I have to say I still want more!
The CD starts out with a track called "IT" catchy track you might hear the woman say "No good deed goes unpunished". The band shows its teeth on the track "I Knock You Down" there is a very clear message on that one. I could see this one used for a UFC/Boxing intro song. Up next is two songs that I really dig personally "Becoming" it starts out with a very clean European piano sound and jumps into a full out assault. This song is one of my favorites I have found myself playing it alot.
"In This World Without You" I heard this song the first time live at the Dixie Beasley Memorial Benefit Show. There was not a dry eye in the place when Derek sung his heart out for the crowd. I commend the band for sharing this song with the world. Hearing this song just reminds me how strong Mr. Derek James is. This man has had to deal with a tremendous loss and shows us all what having inner strength and drive is all about. If you did not know not only did Derek loss his soul mate but the band lost a close friend as well. The band pulled together and you get to hear some of the highs and lows on this CD. Not many people could pull together and make an album after a tragedy like this. When I feel the weight of the world pressing down I think of my friend and his incredible courage. Derek you are an inspiration to us all.
I want to touch on the song "Elektrik" now this is what Rivethead is known for just balls out electronic assault! This should be a crowd favorite at the live shows.
"My Discard" another classic "Rivet track" this time Steve adds the haunting piano licks to his arsenal of weapons. This time the band shows you how complex they can get.
Skip down the CD to the last two tracks "The 13th Step" I hear a heavy Trent Reznor influence in this one. You are reminded that Steve is from over-seas on alot of the CD. The European influence is very much apart of this album. This song is very dark at times and then very bright... again I use the word complex but it does not do many of the tracks on this album justice.
Last track is called "Water" a psychedelic electronic experience. With sitar’s playing in the background and a spoken word journey into Steve’s mind this song shows you he might not be as clean cut as his image would represent. I would love to hear this in some headphones with a little herbal stimulation! HA HA Track 15 is "Sexy Back" but you wont hear it on the CD instead you can download this track on their myspace for free. I actually like this version better than the original. Justin Timberlake should hire the band to perfrom this song at his shows!
I admire the talent in this band not just the musicians but the actual composition of the album itself. This is one of the best industrial/metal albums I have ever heard. The drums are as tight as they get, there is alot of "little extras" you hear in this CD. The more I listen to it the more of that stuff I hear.
There is absolutely no reason why this band should not be out on a major tour. I give it a 10 out of 10. Behind the Rivet Gun is a powerful crew of men with world domination on their minds. March forward and conquer! Check them out online www.rivetheadonline.com or hit their myspace www.myspace.com/rivethead

Rivethead - The Best Band in Texas?
YES I will gladly give them that title and them some......
This interview will be part text, part audio & part video. What? I like to cover all bases!
First up let me get a few things out of the way, one this band has treated me with much respect since day one. I have seen them experience bad time slots, non paying gigs, unprofessional venues/promoters and being ignored by their own peers. Never once have I heard any of them complain or have a harsh word to say about any of it. Now let me say I know that there is millions of bands and band members who have seen these things first hand and can relate. All of us have seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to doing shows. What makes me admire these guys is they overcome all of this and are not bitter or even jaded. I myself cannot even say as I am bit jaded these days(hahahaha). Steve the leader of the band is like a tank on a mission. There is nothing in his path he cannot run over, climb under or just drive through! Rivethead is without a doubt a true example of "what to do" they have professional sounding music, absolutely creative videos and are currently getting national airplay on XM & Sirius satelite radio. Accomplishments that cannot be overlooked by anyone who understands this business. In the coming weeks I will unfold for all of you my most complex interview ever with a 3 part interview series with all the members of the band, their street team & raodies. I will unlock the juggernaut that is known as Rivethead!

I got this CD one night when the guys came by for a interview. I play songs off of it all the time its just a perfect mix of industrial & metal. Another band I will say "this is how it is done". Their music is very powerful & driven BUT their stage show is where they really shine!!
They have a lot of lights and fancy laser guns that shoot out! Stand out tracks on this CD are "Rise Up" with a "German" touch on this one a lot of my overseas chat friends enjoy this track. Epic like tune called "Choose Your Weapon" Up next the crowd anthem "Rivetgun". To be fair I like all of the tracks on this CD! If you are into Static X, NIN or Rammstein this is your band.

Rock Eyez
http://www.rockeyez.com/reviews/cd/rivethead/rev-rivethead-rivethead.html
The pulsating opening track “Difference” sends you into an atmospheric spin and flashbacks of DISTURBED’s debut CD are in mind with a slight industrial sound making RIVETHEAD stand out. Hard power chords and the driving bass lines are the backbone as the midsection adds depth.
Steve Page’s vocals have the flare of early James Hetfield and BRUTALIATOR’s Stefan Karlsson. The first song that really stands out above the rest is “Choose Your Weapon”, a slower tune but Page summons up your altar ego and gathers up your inner self. Listening to RIVETHEAD, you also get a feel of MARILYN MANSON on some tracks and an evil uprising could take place.
The highlight track is “Beautiful Disaster” and you can check the video out on their MySpace site. The true feel of DISTURBED comes shinning through on this track as RIVETHEAD make you take notice a force is going to be reckoned with.
The thing that is above other bands is the hard-core rhythm section that is a TKO, which will bring fans from far and wide to the experience the new messiahs of metal.

When I listen to a band for the first time, I always have some other band names popping up in my head. It is some kind of filter that I haveand it helps me to file the band and the music in my head.
During my first listening session of 'Rivethead' I thought of Faith No More during the opening track (because of the piano sound and the cool break), during the song 'Taking Over Me' the name Machine Head popped up, but most of the time band names like Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Prong and Marilyn Manson formed the reference for Rivethead's music. "Hmm, so what now?" I asked myself. And then I read the solution for the description of Rivethead's music in their biography: Rivethead = industrial rock from Dallas Texas . Aha, industrial rock it is.
And guess what, I am not the biggest industrial rock freak in this world, but if all those albums could be of a quality like this one, then the world would be a fine place. According to me, there is nothing wrong with this album. The bleeps and the effects are obviously present, but they are not too much. The songs have a good drive and they are sometimes really fast ('Time bomb') or aggressive ('Tearing Apart'). Okay, not all the songs are of the same quality ('Choose Your Weapon' has too much repeated parts and a 'Beautiful Disaster' is a bit too melodic) but in general I can say: this is a good album.
I also would like to give special credit for the production and the artwork of this album. 'Rivethead' is a self financed album, but it looks and sounds like a major releaseand for this the band gets some extra points.

Dion’s Review Have you ever been sitting on the toilet (where all great thinking is done) and thought to yourself “I wonder what Metallica would sound like if they were hardcore Ministry fans.”? Well then. Flush your most recent daily deposit down, poke what’s left down with the plunger-handleand wash your hands (or at least tell people that you did). Then go check these guys out.
This could very well be a leaked copy of the next Metallica release. Well, that was my first thought, but then I figured I was being just a little too harshand silently apologised to Rivethead. The lead vocalist may have been James in a Metallica cover band that only did post ‘And Justice For All’ songs, but it’s also the sound. The production’s got that clean, crisp metal sound that we’ve all heard, with all the tricks of a thumb-twiddling, coffee-logged sound engineer’s trade in there somewhere. Despite that, nothing really sticks out for me. Most of the heavier riffs are very Ministry-influenced, but will change into a different riff before my coffee goes cold (or the milk that’s in it curdles), thereby making it seem less punishing to listen to than the aforementioned industrial gods. It’s still the “intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus.” dealand all of those intros, except “Volatile” which leaps without hesitation, are done with a sampler, programmerand/or keyboard. I found myself praying for a quick drum-stick count-in that just never came. I’d have even settled for a “One. Two. One, two, three, four”. But programming is the nature of the electronic beast that is industrial metaland if samples and programs are your bag, baby, then grab a sackful of “Rivethead”.
Overall this third release of theirs sounded decent with shop-worthy packaging, but was, if anything, hurdle-less. Didn’t seem to change tempo, or feeland sounded like a mix of bands rather than sounding like Rivethead. If I had to sum the album up in one word, then it’d be “meh”. http://www.rivetheadonline.com , http://www.myspace.com/rivethead

A dcouvrir.

RIVERHEAD/Self Titled (Self Released) This was a good example of modern metal played well. The band sound a bit like Metallica, but with more of an edge and more aggressive than what they are up too nowadays. The vocals are a bit in the tough guy style, but the guy singing has a more melodic edge and doesn't sound generic here at all. The tunes are bone crushing tunes that I bet go over a storm live. This isn't one of those Oz fest bands, but they are one of the few modern metal bands that I think is different and doing something new and exiting and if this band can't get signed, then these labels need to wake up and smell the coffee. RIVETHEAD Rivethead (RH) Modern sounding, dare we say Nu?Yeah we can, muscled up melodic Nu Metal with a crunchy adrenaline pumping electronic edge. The North American outfit do it as well as a thousand others, polished and professional and in need of some identity and personality, desperately needing something to make them stand out from the crowd. If you like your electronic nu-metal they do it well enough - www.rivetheadonline.com

RIVETHEAD is an unsigned band based in Texas . Members are all from Texas except for the singer/guitarist Steve being from U.K. They have packaged an industrial heavy rock music on their self-titled third release. From start to finish, they symbolize solid rock music decorated by industrial/electro sound. Guitars are heavy, rhythms are groovy and vocals are tough and strong. Even though they incorporate digital sounds into their rock music, they never sound too inorganic. Their strength is a hookey, not necessarily catchy, vocal melody that builds dynamically throughout. They reminded me a little bit of ROB ZOMBIE at some parts. This sort of style is not really my kinda music, but I could enjoy the CD for the band plays very solid and the production is top-notch. My favorite is track 12 "Time Bomb". Well-done for an unsigned group.

We received the third work of this North American band, RivetHead, an album with 13 tracks of industrial core metal with some electronic touches, they are not very speedy, rather melodic but aggressive, with influences of bands like Metallica (especially in the voice), Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, etc. "Rivet Gun" is, to my view, the best song in the disk. For the fanatics of the gender I am for sure it is a killer disk, to jumping!!

Rivethead - Rivethead

Achtung mal wieder was aus USA Land .

RIVETHEAD "RIVETHEAD" (Industrial Metal)
(Eigenproduktion)
RIVETHEAD, from merry, old England , was very entertaining. I had never seen a British metal band before- it was quite a treat. They seemed to spend more time developing their sound and increasing their talent than most bands from this side of the pond, but they don't lose any of the aggresiveness that makes metal... well, metal. |
