Ladies and gentleman, I hereby announce my retirement from live performance.
Now before the rumor mill cranks up let me say a few things. I did not get fired and this is not due to “musical differences”. This is souly a decision I had to make for myself. After 25 + years of performing live onstage, 2 back surgeries, the onset of advanced aggressive arthritis…at this point I have no cartilage in my left shoulder (it is bone on bone) and now possible separated tendons in my right elbow I stay in constant pain and performing aggravates these to the point of unbearable pain. Yes, I will miss it…no don’t call me to join your band. RIVETHEAD is the most talented and successful project I have ever had the pleasure to be involved with, the Rivet-family has been there for me during some of the darkest and brightest parts of my life and for that I will forever be grateful. Steve, Kevin and Mark are family to me and will always remain so. I would like to thank all the friends and fans that have supported me this many years, all of you can never be replaced in my heart. As I start this new chapter in my life I ask that you continue to support RH as you always have, Melissa and I surely will….We are excited to watch the band move on to conquer the galaxy and more!!!
Again thank you everyone…for everything!
